Is Your Child Sick?®

Mae Kemph, MD FAAP

Dr. Kemph became part of LRCC in July 2016 after moving to Arkansas to marry her husband, Scott, in 2008!

After completing her residency at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in 2012, she became Assistant Professor of the Department of Pediatrics at UAMS. From 2012 to 2016, she worked at the ACH General Pediatric Clinic and Circle of Friends.

She is board certified and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics!

Dr. Kemph’s favorite thing about working at LRCC is the family atmosphere, the team spirit and camaraderie, & everyone working together towards taking better care of our patients!

Dr. Kemph’s hobbies encompass international travel, theater, gardening, & pickleball. She enjoys quality time with loved ones. At home, she and her husband look after four dogs Leah, Caleb, Rachel, and Jazzie, as well as three cats, Roy, Black kitty, and Ginger.

We asked Dr. Kemph what’s the weirdest thing she’s ever eaten & she said it would have to be an egg with a duck embryo inside, called “balut”.
