Leah Youngblood, MD FAAP
Dr. Youngblood joined LRCC
in July, 2007. She grew up in southeast Arkansas and decided to pursue pediatrics after working as a counselor at MedCamps at Camp Aldersgate. She earned her undergraduate degree from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. During her time at Hendrix, she was a Lancaster University Exchange Student in Lancaster, England. She received her medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and completed her residency at Arkansas Children's Hospital. After her residency, she completed one year as the Chief Resident of Pediatrics.
Dr. Youngblood is board certified and a American Academy of Pediatrics Fellow.
She was voted Best Pediatrician in Arkansas in 2021 by the Arkansas Times.
She is married and has two daughters. Dr.Youngblood enjoys the outdoors - hiking, gardening, and jogging. She likes to travel, see live theater and spend time with her family.
